Things here in Duesseldorf are going very well. We are soon to have a new apartment, and the opportunities for ministry are growing. The two biggest prayer requests are for language, and the other is for boldness. The more I am learning in class and the more I meet with other Christians, the greater my desire to learn the language becomes. One of my friends who lives in Cologne said it best when he said,"You know what to say, but can't find the words to rightly express yourself." How right he was. Our friends Nathan, Tommy and Freddy came over from Cologne for dinner the other night, and we had a great time of fellowship. At the end of the night, Tommy felt led to pray over us and ask God to give us the gift of language so that we may clearly and boldly share about Jesus. What an encouragement that was. Later that evening, a verse came to mind. Ephesians 6: 17-19 says, "and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to prolcaim the mystery of the gospel..." It is these things which I am praying for. For the words to speak, and the boldness to speak them.
